The OMEGA Speedmaster Anniversary Series “First OMEGA in Space” is a tribute to the iconic CK 2998, the first OMEGA watch worn in space by astronaut Walter Schirra during the 1962 Sigma 7 mission. This modern edition beautifully captures the essence of the original 2nd generation Speedmaster, with its 39.70 mm polished and brushed stainless steel case and a stylish “flat links” bracelet, featuring OMEGA’s patented comfort release system. The black aluminum bezel with the renowned tachymeter scale and “Dot Over Ninety” adds a timeless touch. Beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal, the blue – grey dial, CVD coated to reflect the 1960s CK 2998 models, exudes elegance.
